# Fivelabs

> Fivelabs is an early-stage company that builds Fivelabs Studio, an AI video studio that turns an idea or a script into a finished, narrated video: vertical Shorts of 30–60 seconds or long-form videos of 1–20 minutes, in Hindi, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian, exported in 1080p.

Fivelabs renders video with the open-weights MiniMax H3 model (native audio) on its own GPU render stack, using GPUs rented by the hour from Nosana, a decentralised GPU network. Fivelabs does not own data centres or physical GPUs. Measured cost: a 6-second, 480×864 clip takes about 2.5 GPU minutes on an RTX A6000 at about $0.36/hour, which is about $0.015 (about $0.0025 per second of video). The hosted MiniMax H3 API is about $0.08 per second of video. The visuals for a 5-minute long-form video cost about $0.20 in GPU time.

- Developers: REST API v1 with token auth; MCP server with 26 tools and OAuth 2.1 (PKCE) so assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can create videos; YouTube and Instagram publishing.
- Credits: 1 credit = $0.01 of GPU or provider spend; estimates before charging; monthly budgets.
- Security: independent security audit; more than 90 automated tests; hashed, revocable API keys; signed, expiring media links.
